MINUTES:   Meeting 7 pm Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at Penland Senior Center.

ATTENDANCE:  John Mattox, Jeff Gustason, Tom Coy, Grace and Rusty Frederick, Tim and Joyce Portik, Joe and Sue Liguori, Mark Graham, Tom Early, and Doug and Nona Miguel.

PRESIDENT GUSTASON:  Jeff opened the meeting at 7:12pm and the pledge of allegiance was led by Sue Liguori.  Minutes were read and approved.  We are having problems with the newsletter getting to the members on time.  Joyce Portik volunteered to contact Elliott about helping with the newsletter.

Joe Liguori suggested that the Cherokee Scout do a profile on Jeff to increase awareness about our club.  John Mattox suggested we try to start a day of clay shooting for the kids like we used to do for Hogsed Youth Day.  John will get Sam Hogsed’s phone number and contact him to get his ideas about where and when to hold the event.

With no more business to discuss Mark Graham made the motion to adjourn and Tom Coy seconded.  The meeting was adjourned at 7:47pm.  The amount in our treasury as of 10/31 was $3,614.
